报告人简介：Kiyohide WADA, Senior Lecturer of Swansea University. He received BEng (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow, UK in 1999 and the PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2008. He involved in various commercial satellite space programs between 2009 and 2013. Research interest includes shape memory alloys (SMAs), application of SMAs in mechanical and aerospace engineering, advanced engineering and materials. Member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE), and Chartered Engineer (CEng).

报告内容简介：This presentation outlines and explores the ongoing world-class research activities at Swansea University. Some of the topics include introduction to Swansea University, research activities at Materials Research Centre, Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) and shape memory alloys (SMAs).
